Mortal Years · Updated 2026-10-04

Your life is saved on your device. Ads, Google Play purchases, this website and support emails have their own data handling, explained below.

Who is responsible

This privacy policy covers the Mortal Years Android game and this website. Pollos Labs is responsible for the personal information we handle. For privacy questions or requests, email support@polloslabs.com.

Mortal Years is a fictional life simulation. The names, health conditions and events in a saved life describe game characters. There is no game account or developer-operated cloud-save service.

Your game stays on your device

Your active life, character names, choices, relationships, journal and preferences are stored on your device. The game does not send your save or journal to us. You can play offline once the game is installed.

Import reads the save file you select. Export writes a copy to the location you choose. If you choose a cloud drive or share an exported file, that service handles the copy under its own policy. The Android app disables automatic Android backup.

Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it removes its local data. Exported files remain where you saved them until you delete them separately. Starting a new life replaces the active life; family history may remain in a continuing-generation save.

Advertising and your choices

The free Android version includes Google AdMob banner ads. Google and its advertising partners can receive your IP address, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions and technical diagnostics. They use this information to provide and measure ads, maintain their services and help prevent fraud. Your IP address can indicate an approximate location. We do not send them your character’s story.

Google’s consent tools request advertising choices where required. Advertising privacy in the game’s Settings lets you revisit those choices when available. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID through Android’s privacy settings. Ads depend on connectivity and the choices available for your region.

Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps for its handling, retention and privacy controls.

Purchases and ad removal

Google Play processes the optional one-time purchase that removes ads. Every gameplay feature is available without that purchase. We do not receive your payment card details.

The app checks purchase ownership with Google Play and keeps a signed purchase record on the device, including the product and purchase token, so it can remember and restore ad removal. When the purchase is verified, the app stops loading banner ads. Google retains its own transaction records under its policies and applicable law.

When you contact support

If you email support@polloslabs.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as a description of an issue, device information, screenshots or an attached save. Our email provider processes that correspondence to deliver and store messages.

We use it to answer you, investigate the issue and handle privacy or purchase questions. Please avoid including passwords, payment card details or information you do not want to share. A save is only shared with us if you deliberately send it.

We retain correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request, follow up on related problems and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it using the contact address above; we will explain if a legal obligation requires us to keep a record.

Visiting this website

This site is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure and delivered through Cloudflare. Serving a page involves processing connection information such as your IP address, the requested address, browser information and request time. Hosting and security providers use this information to deliver pages, investigate failures and protect against abuse.

We do not add advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or a contact-form service to this website. Fonts and images are served with the site. Cloudflare may use security cookies or process security logs depending on the protection applied to a request; these are separate from advertising in the Android game.

Provider retention and international processing depend on the services they operate. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Hetzner’s privacy policy. Contact us if you need details about information we hold in connection with a visit.

How information is handled

We use support information to respond to your request and maintain the game, and connection information to operate and secure the site. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on providing the requested service or our legitimate interest in running and protecting it. Advertising consent and any legal obligations are handled separately as applicable.

We do not sell your save files or support correspondence. Service providers may process information to provide hosting, email, advertising and payments, as described above. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by law.

Public web pages use HTTPS. Access to developer-held support information is limited to handling the request and administering the service. Some providers process information outside your country and describe their international-transfer safeguards in their own policies.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can delete local game data through Android Settings and delete exported saves yourself. There is no Mortal Years online account to close. To ask about personal information held in support correspondence or website operations, email support@polloslabs.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict its use or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can also contact your local data-protection authority. We may need enough information to confirm a request concerns your data.

Audience and policy changes

Mortal Years is intended for adults, ages 18 and over, and includes fictional adult themes. It is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.

The game has no developer-operated analytics, social login or third-party crash-reporting service. Its bundled World Bank data is an offline snapshot; playing does not query that service. If these practices change, this policy will be updated and any additional notice or consent provided as required. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
